Who Is Dr. Fazeela Abbasi?
A well known dermatologist, researcher, and speaker. She has more than two decades of experience in this field. She completed her post graduation MD Dermatology from St. John’s Institute of Dermatology, King’s College London. Alongside her dermatology experience, she has published papers. She was also part of the executive board of several dermatologic societies and international committees.
The Story of Dr. Fazeela
After the completion of her postgraduate studies and making a name in national and international dermatologic forums, Dr. Fazeela wrote her thesis on leishmaniasis recognized by the University of London. This is the most common parasitic infection in the subcontinent. She wrote another thesis on a novel approach using a CO2 ablative laser to treat cutaneous leishmaniasis.
